These values are particularly important to us:

Our Journey
Bergmensch is more than just a brand – it's a call that resonates in the veins of all mountain lovers. We are Felix and Dominik, two mountain souls from Swabia and South Tyrol, marching forward with a clear vision: We are bringing a breath of fresh air and a dash of humor to the mountain apparel landscape while doing good for people and nature.

Our Mission
In a world that seems to be getting louder and more divided, Bergmensch is the echo of the mountains that connects us all. With approximately 10,000 active members in our community and over 250,000 happy customers, we strive to build bridges – from peak to peak, from heart to heart. Our clothing is not just a symbol of belonging, but a starting point for friendships and memories forged under the wide-open sky of the mountains.

More than a brand
We thank everyone who participated in our campaigns and look forward to the next steps. Because with Bergmensch, you not only contribute to the beauty of the mountains but also to a world where social responsibility and sustainable action lead the way.

The Power of Community
In our collaboration with the volunteer organization "Hope for a Better Tomorrow," we have found a trustworthy partner who helps us provide support where it is urgently needed. Our challenge shows: Together, we can achieve great things, as over 2,740 participants have literally circled the Earth 5.3 times.

Small steps make all the difference.
Preserving nature and being able to enjoy it in the future is certainly an important concern for all mountain people. But sustainability is a marathon, not a sprint. We are on the right track, but not yet perfect, we are aware of that.

Environment
Sustainability is not an empty word for us. We take responsibility for our planet and demonstrate this in every fiber of our products and in every step of our corporate management. But for us, sustainability doesn't stop at the environmentally friendly selection of our materials. It lives on in projects like Hans Kammerlander's Nepal aid, where we support the expansion of the largest school and enable children to access education.

Community
The Bergmensch Community is the heart of our company. It's a virtual peak where like-minded people meet, share experiences, and leave everyday life behind together. Our growing Facebook group and regular events in the mountains offer the perfect meeting point for exchange and shared adventures. We also opened a pop-up store in Reutlingen – because meeting in person is still the best :)

Production
Where do we produce and what is important to us?
When selecting our partners, we place great importance on all clothing items being produced sustainably and under fair conditions. Our most important partner from Izmir, who produces all organic cotton t-shirts and hoodies, holds the GOTS certificate, which defines environmental requirements along the entire textile production chain as well as social criteria.

Steps Challenge
Our heartfelt campaign: The 10,000 Steps Challenge
Bergmensch stands not only on solid ground in the Alps but also firmly in social commitment. Our "10,000 Steps Challenge" is a living example of this. In May 2021, together with you, we set out anew each day not only to promote our health but also to do something concrete for the community.
The result? A fantastic donation total of 15,410 euros, with which we were able to build seven vital wells in Kolkata – life-changing access to clean drinking water for over 3,000 people.

Consciousness
Together for a Better World
At Bergmensch, we believe that a company is only truly successful if it leaves a positive footprint. With every challenge T-shirt sold, we have shown that profit and social awareness can go hand in hand. And that's just the beginning. With every further campaign, every piece of clothing sold, and every mountain we climb together, we come a little closer to our goal of leaving the world a little better than we found it.
